I’ve faced some challenges over the last few years and Nat has always been there for me

I’m a busy mum of two, the last thing I want is to be is unhappy about how I look. It’s not about ‘snapping back in shape’ it’s about feeling like ‘me’, feeling happy with the way I look and feeling full of energy and strong. Happy mummy = happy family.

With my first baby I gained two stone. This time round I gained three stone and have turned 40; it is much harder to lose the weight. I had already gained a stone following several miscarriages too leaving me over four stone heavier than I used to be.

Before children I used to run every day. I don’t miss the obsession however I do miss feeling like me and the figure. VTS is the perfect answer, not only do you get genuine, personal, individual support and encouragement from people who care and understand, but it fits in with family life too.

One of the greatest benefits (other than the physical result) is the great balance of foods.

My hair and nails grow more on VTS than during pregnancy, my energy levels are high and my mood is positive and happy.

My baby is breastfed and I know I’m eating not only the right things for me, but for her too.

With my first child I waited three months before beginning the programme. I was tired and exhausted, leaving eating as my last priority, which meant I would grab chocolate, convinced I deserved a treat and in need of a quick hit of energy. This time around, not only am I already educated, but I started the VTS only a few weeks after birth. I have so much energy; I’m doing something for myself. I’m happy and relaxed and so is my new born and family too. I feel in a really good place mentally and physically.

The first time I was back to work when I joined VTS and it worked and fitted in around work too. This time around, with a husband, toddler, baby and maternity pay, the gym just wouldn’t work, instead I train at home, taking my opportunities when I can, but it can be done at home. The whole family are eating better as I’m buying and preparing fresh food more. We have always been active but when and wherever we can we go for long walks together as I feel motivated. The results stick too. It’s not a fad. It’s not a diet. It’s just a better way of life.

Working with Mike and Nat has been fantastic. I’ve faced some challenges over the last few years and Nat has always been there for me. I’m so privileged to know her; she has been an inspiration and will hopefully be a friend for life.
